Can a family member train with me?
A: Yes. Immediate family members in the same household may train with you in the First Steps Program at no extra cost.
Is this ‘real’ Taekwondo?
A: Yes. This is Traditional World Taekwondo taught in the same way I teach new students in person. Beginners focus on foundations, coordination, core strength, and controlled movement.

Am I too old to start?
A: No. The program is designed for adults and starts with the fundamentals. You develop at a sustainable pace, and I have successfully taught students in their 70s. If you have an existing injury or medical condition, seek advice from your health professional before starting.

Traditional Taekwondo for Adults
A Structured, Step-by-Step Training System
Watch this short video to see what training actually looks like
WHAT THIS TRAINING IS

Most people think martial arts is about fighting or being hit. This training system is different.
You’ll methodically develop coordination, control, and practical skills through structured, step-by-step training.
Through focused practice, you begin to move with better coordination, greater control, and more confidence — while developing the discipline, composure, and inner strength that give the training its deeper meaning.
This traditional Taekwondo program is taught through a structured, progressive system.
WHAT YOU WILL DEVELOP
Strength & Co-ordination
Clarity & Focus
Build balance, timing, and controlled movement through practical training.
Develop concentration, precision, and attention to detail.
Traditional Taekwondo training does more than teach techniques. Over time, the discipline of training begins to influence how you move, act, and respond.
You begin developing the ability to:
WHAT BEGINS TO CHANGE
- Move with more control and confidence
- Follow through on what you start
- Hold yourself to a higher standard
- Handle difficulty without backing down
- Respond deliberately, not reactively
These qualities are introduced through the lessons and reinforced through regular practice.
MORE THAN PHYSICAL TRAINING
You don't just learn techniques. You learn how to approach effort, setbacks, discipline, and progress — both in training and in everyday life.
THIS IS FOR YOU IF:
You’ve been going to the gym, but the routine feels repetitive, uninspiring, or distracting.
STRUCTURED TO KEEP YOU ON TRACK
Train at home, or wherever suits you, at a time that fits your life.
THE TRAINING SYSTEM
You follow a structured program that builds your ability step by step.
Each lesson shows exactly what to do.
You work through a defined sequence, with key material introduced at the right time.
Each module builds on the last.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
- Fundamental Taekwondo techniques
- Coordination, balance, and movement
- Practical self-defence principles
- Focus and self-discipline
WHAT YOU PROGRESS INTO
You begin with the First Steps Program, where you build the fundamentals first. As your ability develops, the wider training pathway opens up:
Each stage builds on the last. As you progress, further training, feedback, live sessions, community support, and continued belt development are introduced.

BEGIN WITH THE FIRST STEPS PROGRAM
MORE STUDENT FEEDBACK
In the First Steps Program, you’ll learn practical ways to respond if someone tries to:
Push you over
Grab you
Strike you

Regular live-streamed training sessions
Live Q&A and instruction
Direct feedback on your technique and progress
Optional in-person workshops and intensives

START RISK-FREE
The focus is on coordination, movement, and control — not on fighting, competition or performance.
You improve your own ability through regular practice. It's not about keeping up with others.
Progress is built through repetition and clear instruction — not intensity or pressure.
You want the flexibility to train at any time, in a place that suits you.
You want your training to have depth — something you can practise, refine, and apply in everyday life.
You are prepared to follow clear instructions and work through a structured progression.
You want something real, structured, and developed through actual teaching experience.
Each lesson is clear and repeatable, so you can practise properly and build steadily.
The program introduces material in sequence, so you focus on what matters instead of rushing ahead.
Traditional Taekwondo is built on principles refined over generations.

You're not left to guess what to do next.
YOUR TRAINING RECORD & JOURNAL
Your training is supported by an interactive Training Record & Journal, used alongside the lessons to track progress, reinforce key points, and reflect on what you are learning.
It gives structure to your practice, helping you record what you have done, what needs attention, and how your training is developing.

Selected lessons are also available as downloadable audio, so you can keep practising even when you are offline or away from a screen.
It's designed to give beginners a clear path, help them avoid common mistakes, and develop their skills in the right order.
This program has been developed from decades of teaching students how to build strong foundations and progress correctly from the beginning.
You are not joining a video library. You're entering a structured training system.
You do not need prior martial arts experience, and you do not need to be young, flexible, or already fit to begin.
DESIGNED FOR ADULT BEGINNERS
The program starts with the fundamentals and progressively develops your abilities so you can build coordination, strength, and confidence at a sustainable pace.
If you have an existing injury or medical concern, seek advice from a qualified health professional before starting.

NOT JUST ONLINE VIDEOS
WHY THIS IS DIFFERENT

This training gives you a structured path to develop skills.
You're not just exercising. You're learning Traditional Taekwondo through a system that combines clear instruction, guided progression, personal practice, reflection, and long-term development.
The First Steps Program begins with the fundamentals of Traditional Taekwondo and guides you through a clear and progressive sequence.
